Verify our licence on the SLBFE website

  1. 1

Open the official SLBFE licensed-agency search using the button below.

  2. 2

In the box "Labour Licence Number", type 3817 and press Search.

  3. 3

The result page lists the agency's registered name (EMPIDIA FOREIGN EMPLOYMENT HUB (PRIVATE) LIMITED), the licence number, address, telephone, email and a "Valid upto" date.

  4. 4

Check that the name, address and phone number match the ones on this page, and that the "Valid upto" date has not passed. If anything is different, do not pay — contact SLBFE.

This opens the Sri Lanka government's SLBFE website (applications.slbfe.lk), not our website.

Red flags of a fake agent

  • Job offers on Facebook or TikTok with no office address.
  • Pressure to pay immediately, "before the slots run out".
  • A visa promised without any interview or employer check.
  • The agent refuses to show an SLBFE licence number.
  • Payment asked into a personal bank account.
  • Contact only through unknown or unregistered phone numbers.
  • "Guaranteed" jobs or visas.
  • They ask for your original passport to "hold" it.
